Creative Artists Bring Scion iM and iA to Fans
As the new Scion iA sports sedan and the Scion iM 5-door hatchback become available this fall, Scion has partnered with five highly creative entities to learn what they’re passionate about. In the coming weeks we’ll be premiering new videos with each of them that show how the Scion helps them do what they love.
Here’s who you’ll see in the driver’s seat:
• Joey Badass: The Brooklyn-based hip-hop artist and commander-in-chief of the Pro Era collective.
• Skybound Entertainment: Creators of The Walking Dead, the feature film AIR, and publishers of comic books including Outcast, Invincible, and Thief of Thieves, among others.
• Baker Skateboards: Professional skate team, clothier, and skateboard makers founded by Andrew Reynolds.
• Eddie Huang: Author, television producer, consummate rap fan, restaurateur and food personality. He’s best known for his book Fresh Off The Boat, which was adapted for TV and begins its second season on ABC in September of 2015.
• Stampd: High-fashion, Los Angeles-based clothing designer named GQ’s “Best New Menswear Designer of 2015.”
In addition to creating videos, each of these talents will partner with Scion in a different way, whether it’s putting out a free musical release they either perform or curate, developing exclusive merchandise, providing concert tickets, or participating in special events.
The first videos will feature Eddie Huang driving around L.A., showing how he stays active and meeting up with some of his favorite personalities in hip-hop. Check it out below!
