Riley Hawk and the Shep Dawgs skate Seattle and Jefferson Skatepark
Riley Hawk and the Shep Dawgs crew reach their final stop in Seattle, Washington, for the Scion x Riley Hawk Driven video series. This session at outdoor session at Jefferson Skatepark is the end of the Pacific Northwest skateboarding tour that saw them travel the region in two Scion xBs. Carving the asphalt with Hawk this round is Troye Rhoades, Taylor Smith and Stephen Lawyer.
Helping with the throwback vibes for this video is “Into the Night” by Kadavar. “Into the Night” is featured on the compilation Riley Hawk: Northwest Blow Out EP, presented by Scion AV. The collection of new material features additional tracks by the Black Angels, Loom, and Hot Lunch, all of which were chosen by Hawk, and they’re now available for free download.
Hawk has been doing a ton with Scion over past few months through the Scion Collaboration project. At SEMA in Las Vegas last November was the unveiling of the project car the Scion x Riley Hawk Skate Tour xB. Custom built by Scott Kanemura of KMA Productions, this xB integrates Hawk’s interests in ’70s style, music and skateboarding. Its features include wood-grain décor, a mini fridge, shag carpet, an 8-track player, a big Pioneer Sound System and the ability to play a guitar through the audio system using an iPad mini as mixer. There’s also a cargo box with an INNO rack system to store skateboards.
Hawk, along with Shep Dawgs members Taylor Kirby and Jacob Nuñez, were recently interviewed by host Prince Paul on the Scion AV All Purpose Show. Expect even more from Hawk and the Shep Dawgs with Scion AV in the coming months.
